This free conference, supported by Microsoft, brought together some of the leading UK companies to share what they are doing to increase their resilience to these and similar events.
The conference is part of the 'Anywhere Working' campaign to help British employers understand the benefits of providing flexible working environments and to enable employees to access the tools that they need to work in a more flexible way.
Remote attendance was offered to delegates around the country.

We can't believe it's almost a year since our last NBTN Members' Conference when we heard the latest thoughts from some great opinion formers about the best practice and new initiatives for reducing carbon emissions through business efficiency.
We've chosen the same venue this year – Altitude 360, Millbank Tower – as we don't think you can beat it for amazing views of London, fantastic hospitality and great networking opportunities.

NBTN 2009 members' conference: Friday 25 September 2009
“Reducing carbon emissions through business efficiency” was the theme for last year’s NBTN Members’ Conference took place on Friday 25 September 2009 at London’s skyscraper conference centre on the top floor of Millbank Tower. A summary of the event and presentations will shortly be on the website.
NBTN Members' Conference: Thursday 11 December 2008
NBTN showed it had all the modes covered when it comes to reducing CO2 emissions at its members’ conference in December. Whatever size or type of organisation you work for and whatever your business travel profile, be it planes, trains or cars the network had a policy to cut all emissions and save money.
It was a close call whether the best views were from the guest speakers or the windows at the latest NBTN conference held in London’s latest skyscraper conference venue, Altitude, on the 29th floor of London’s Millbank Tower in December.

The NBTN Members' Meeting was held on 13 June 2008 at the Cavendish Conference Centre, London. The meeting focused on 'Travel Planning: New Perspectives and a Vision for the Future.
Members heard from some of the UK's foremost academics present - for the first time - the results of recently completed NBTN supported research projects. Experts, researchers and practioners joined us on the day to outline some of their fascinating findings and successes.
