Encouraging work-related travel by bus and coach
The average driver spends nearly a year of their lives trying to park, devoting the equivalent of 25 minutes a day to looking for a parking space, at a cost of £120 a year (NCP).
Travelling to work by bus means that you don’t have to endure the stress of driving and trying to find somewhere to park.
Sometimes it’s best to take the bus or coach
A recent study by Greener Journeys showed that travelling by bus is a third less stressful than by car (watch this short clip to find out more). So as well as arriving at work more relaxed you can also spend your journey reading, emailing, preparing for the day ahead and doing lots of other things that you aren’t able to do when you have your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road.
Sometimes getting the bus makes more sense than getting behind the wheel - so why not give it a go and encourage your colleagues and employees to do likewise?
