The Department for Transport has today published the following Transport Statistics:

Reported Road Casualties Great Britain Main Results: 2009

The Department for Transport has published statistics on road casualties in accidents reported to the police in Great Britain in 2009, according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.

Road Statistics 2009: Traffic, Speeds and Congestion

The Department for Transport has published the statistical bulletin Road Statistics 2009: Traffic, Speeds and Congestion according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority. This bulletin includes the first release of National Statistics on 2009 Road Traffic in Great Britain, Free Flow Vehicle Speeds in Great Britain, and Traffic Speeds on the Strategic Road Network in England. The bulletin also includes further analysis of congestion on urban and inter-urban roads.
