Better ways to work and travel
"For the past 9 months we have been working with the ways2work Steering Group to produce this resource to help companies create and implement sustainable working and travelling policies and practices for financial, social and environmental benefits. For a growing number of companies, the impacts of work-related travel on business efficiency, on employee wellbeing, on the environment and on wider society are motivating them to integrate these practices into their business activities and the commuting patterns of their employees.
I would like to thank the members of the Steering Group - RWE npower (chair), Accenture, Boots UK, BSkyB, BT, Capgemini, E.ON UK, FirstGroup, GlaxoSmithKline, Highways Agency, Microsoft, Nationwide, NATS and The Wellcome Trust – who have contributed their collective thought leadership, practical advice and best practice examples to this publication.
